If your Main Market Mall leader hasn't logged onto Neopets for 1.5 months+ what should you do?
My mall leader dissappeared 1.5 months ago without a trace. Since then one other mall member and myself have filled 3 vacant/inactive spots and done general mall/hut management. We'd kinda like to boot the old leader but that might cause future problems. This is a good sized main market mall. So far we thought about finding a temporary member / joining a larger mall as a new branch / making new banners (we don't have the expertise) / do nothing. Any thoughts/suggestions?

I wouldn't kick him just to avoid the drama in the future if he comes back. Plus if he made the graphic and hosting the images.. it would just be bad if he like got mad and changed what they were or something >.< You get my drift? Regroup if you're all together in this -- meaning that it's the majority so you aren't running around trying to fill a zillion spots. As far as the graphic, I can make you a graphic if you want (though it'd have to wait until Wednesday or later). Edit: I just looked up to see what mall you were in. Yeah, that's a tough spot to be in. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I am sure i saw him advertising in the BD chat for a petpet mallier a couple of weeks ago.

If all, or majority, of the members are in favor, I would start a new mall. Unless there was an emergency, you don't owe the mall leader anything, if he's as uncommited (is that a word? :P) to the mall as to not log in for 6 weeks. If your mall is having trouble with anything (such as mall banners, which I see someone has already volunteered to make) the neomallers community is here to help ;)

1.5 months is a long time. UNless your mall leader is known to get sick, or other emergency real life issues that prevent them from logging in, i would rebrand it if your members want to go that route. Otherwise, im sure the mall leader knows that they havent logged in for 1.5 months and doesnt care at all lol. It doesnt take long to drop a message or two unless you're in a life-threatening situation. Who is your mall leader btw?

Consider as well how much you are losing out on by his inactivity... you still have that hut spot bringing in customers, so it's really just a matter of his shop slowly emptying and 'looking bad' for the mall. I'm not sure if that's a good enough reason to mutiny (yes, I'm using a strong word). Just have someone take care of duties and see how long it is. It'd just be a shame for the leader to come back after some serious problems to find his mall disbanded. At worst, you could find a temporary replacement for him (it is a 'he' isn't it?). Again.. what harm is it doing you?

I'd take over in there absence and fill the empty spots and just keep going--that way if that person comes back--find--if not wait 3 months and replace them. Deal with it if/when they come back and just state we thought you died and wanted to continue the mall in your legacy--lol. Books! Not really. Inactivity means that he's not upgrading towards the top of the hut. And one inactive member is contagious. The others start slacking too and when you bring up the issue to them, they'll just point fingers at the other inactive member. Unless the mall/member listing is spectacular to an extreme degree with amazingly professional graphics, i would just join another active one. There's plenty here.
