My current shop size is 896. I don't play games or restock from main shops. So I can honestly say that my shop has paid for itself. As well as my Draik and Krawk that were both morphed, and all the paint jobs they have had as well. Hope this helps.

I'm currently size 484 and I think I'm still in the red, but not by a huge amount. Soon I'm planning on making the leap to MM, and then my shop will be paying itself off for quite a while!

Funny you should ask because I have made this my goal: make my shop pay for itself before I upgrade! I upgraded 65 times in 14 days recently to catchup to the profit I have made from my shop. I have spent a total of 5,267,150 NPs to upgrade to 230. I have been using the Portal for 8 months. 8 months profit is 2/3 of the total cost to get to size 716. I'm sure my shop has more than paid for itself up to this point. I also do very little to earn NP other than from my shop

I have a size 245 shop and the value of my shop stock is 8,958,971 NP. At this moment the value of my shop is about 15 million in both items and shop upgrades. I think I have made about half of that with my shop now, and since I do not need to invest in buying a lot more new items, I'm pretty sure I will get a lot more money back then I invested in the first place :)

I have made enough profit to cover how much it took to pay for my stock and upgrading size, so yes, I have made a profit. Not like it matters much to me though, since every penny I make goes back into my shop or into the stock market.

[center] Well, I started malling with 3 M in pure np, and had battledome items worth maybe 5 M more. I've since sold the battledome items (so you could consider my shop as being started with 8 M, I suppose). I'm too lazy to use the stockmarket much, or play games, and I've done very little main shop rsing since then. I've been malling for 2 years, and I have now spent 11M on upgrades, and my stock value is 60M. So through malling, my shop has gone from being 8 M to being 71M. I'd say its paid for itself. :O And thats not counting the extra profit that I've pulled out to spend on Darkend, or my galleries, or my other pets...
