My shop turns enough profit to buy my shares each day. When I sell shares, I upgrade my shop. Has it earned itself back? The upgrades, well, yes, with a detour. :) The stock, no, that's from playing games, and other profit.
That's great to hear actually, I imagine stocking map pieces is expensive but also returns great profits. Honestly there are some thing I want to do on Neo which naturally require NP but I hate playing games past affording my daily stocks (15k). I'll have to do some RSing to have anywhere near the amount of NP needed to even start malling though, so I'm in no rush.
Well, when I started Neopets, I played games like crazy, saved up 100K, and blew it all on my gallery :D When I started malling, I was size 15, lol. I find tons of snipes on the SW, and I sell quest items, which turns a good profit. I'm now size 102, and I have 1mil in the bank saved up (for what, I don't know yet). I honestly don't have any idea if my shop has paid for itself. To upgrade from size 0 to 102, it will cost: 1,030,200 NP. Current Balance: 1,034,712 NP Just barely, but yes :D *** Grooming, wearables, backgrounds, clothes, Fire & Air Faerie Quest items! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=nioe_yemar&misc Owner of The Rainbow Fields Mall & Celestial Colours Guild!

Ever since I started upgrading past size 150, I have not used the money from my bank. I only use profits from my shop in my till to make the upgrades (I am now size 252). So, I think my shop really has paid for itself.
