MiMi--I think an argument could be made by Neopets that "we gave away so much to try and make up for that". It's kind of a no win situation though Books! Reasonable Prices!! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=kermat13&misc

There has to be some way they can add something for premi users that make more people interested in becoming premi. For me the SSW is a great reason to have it, but for people that aren't into malling/sniping, what really do they have to look forward to? The REs aren't that great and there are other ways to block ads etc. I feel like if there were exclusive games/items that only premi members could have perhaps people would be more interested in joining. And if more people join that's more money for them so they can start worry about other aspects of the site. http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=evilbluemunkeyz

If they gave Premium members access to special items or something like that you'd essentially be paying to get a huge game advantage, which I don't think they want to do as it'd be essentially paying for neopoints. & :o:o @ Adam and Donna's FB game We weren't born to follow ♥

I agree with the people who say Neo is really hard to start off as a newbie. I mean, I've told friends to start playing, but they are like "Now what?" and it's really hard to explain what you're supposed to do, because mainly you choose what to do. So, a week later they are not playing anymore. ----- http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=shflash

I remember starting off 4 years ago and all I did was play games. It wasn't until I went to the boards and discovered Dailies, Lazy links etc. I was such a noob, I had no idea how to join Altador Cup II. *lol* It wasn't until I started wandering around and clicking things that I discovered shops, malls, galleries, etc :P http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=atlantissix

Thankfully for me when I joined there wasn't so much going on so it was easier to learn the ropes and decide what I want to do, but even now there is a lot of stuff I know absolutely nothing about (the BD) but of course there is enough that I do so I just don't bother with it. http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=evilbluemunkeyz

Yeah, I never did much on Neo until I joined a guild. I remember mostly playing games until I saw guild people talking about the other things you can do.

What started me off was when we sent out 2 girls to Japan through school trip. I started to help look after their pets and buy some shares it was the stock market that I first started on and had my 2 kids who had been playing for a few years to help me along the way.. Even my kids are talking of how it has changed and gone down over the last few years with more and more targeting the NC and not caring about much else... It probably doesn't have as much of an impact but here in Australia our kids go back to school in 2 weeks so there will be even less online then.
