Something weird with the "Other" counters
This has happened 2 days in a row now, so I thought I'd post... When I go to check my Other counters... it shows this... josiah316 Petpage 20 36 1769 2 min 6 sec ago aaaapets That means that "aaaapets" saw my counter 2 mins ago? Thats not possible because thats my side and I havent logged in for ~8hrs or more. It happened yesterday too... is it possibly glitching? =/

thats so weird... and I know no one else is in my account... otherwise it would log me out right? When I get home, Ill see if I've been logged out (im at work and havent logged in here...) Im 99% sure that aaaapets didnt visit the petpage :P

No it wont log you out until that person surfs for a couple pages. Anyways I checked the IP adresss of that visit and your current neomallers account and they are identical unless you're at a library or something :P

Thats really weird. I was at work, but I think I have my own IP there, and I know I didnt log into my side. Im gonna watch to see if it keeps happening =/

Yep, Im at home now :P And I just opened my browser with my side account (aaaapets) and it hadnt been logged out of (which would usually happen if I (or someone else) had logged into it today)... Yeah it's coming from that IP address you're posting from. This isnt a very good thing since tnt might accuse you of auto-botting. By any chance, do you use fasterfox with prefetching enabled? Maybe this is why people get frozen for ABing when they dont even restock =/ Anyways the other risky business is blocking referrers which a number of people on this site do. I almost mistaked them for autobots lol. (90% of these people probably dont even know since their security programs like norton does it)

Why would they think Im ABing? cause it looks like my side it online but its not? =/ Tomorrow, when I get home from work, Im gonna check in my portal, when it says my side was last logged in before I open my side browser.... EDIT: oh and no , I dont use fasterfox. and I dunno what the blocking referrers is, so I dont think so

Since something is surfing for you. At least according to the server admin logs Usually when you visit any site, you auto provide some pieces of information like operating system, browser name. One of these is which page you're currently visiting. Now if the remote server doesnt know which page you're currently on but still see you making a connection to the server... well.. who knows
