Possibly CG'D
I have a question or mybe I am just paranoid but this has never happened to me before. I was on Neopets and also logged on here and Jellyneo. All the sudden as I was going to my safety deposit box I was logged out. Not just on neopets but all 3 sites!!!! I immediately logged back in and changed my password and pin on neopets - should I change all my passwords? With all the crap going on - on neopets I am sure I am very paranoid but I do not want to lose my account again.

wow that's odd for it to happen on all 3 at once. Are you certain you didn't clear your cookies or something?

I have been randomly logged out before, but never on more than one site at a time. Very strange =/ But it does seem like you took the precautions to protect yourself so everything should be okay

Thanks for commenting Nicann and Pip. No I did not clear cookies or anything. I have been randomly logged off neopets before also and I always change everything then but I have never been logged out of more than one site at the same time before. That is what really made me paranoid.

I would say that its not likely a CG if you got logged out on all 3, your cache might have cleared, your browser being weird, etc. But of course its best to change words =) and DONT use your neopets password on other neo sites ;)

Yeah, i think your cookies got wiped. Either way, dont use your neopets password anywhere else. There's a big red box telling you not to do that on this site too :P and make sure to add numbers since the password in neomallers cannot be reversed. It's one-way encrypted in the database so the only way to crack a password is by using a password library of potential common ones (like words)

That is what was strange about this whole deal - is that each one has it's own password. I do not use any duplicate passwords. I went ahead and changed all my passwords on all 3 accounts and changed my pin number on neopets.

Ctrl+Shift+del clears your history, maybe you used that combination of keys without realizing. I'm sure it's not a CGer :)

Cger wouldnt log you out though. It just copies your cookies and sends it elsewhere. For neopets, it would log you out if the idiot used your cookies and browsed on your account for some time.

Sometimes browsers will automatically clear cookies at a certain time, like when your antivirus program auto-updates or things like that. It may have just been an automatic cookie clear. It isn't that strange if it never happened before because browsers sometimes change what their default settings are, and since all these programs update themselves automatically, acting strange comes with the territory sometimes. I think it's weird, but I don't think it's weird enough to worry about. ;) ~ Love books? Please visit my bookshop. :) http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=lolooma
