this is so unfair :( This account has been FROZEN for the following reason: This (possibly previously inactive) account was being accessed by someone other than the original creator due to its easily guessable password. NOT!!!

So sorry to hear about your account. Hope you get your account back soon. You would think with all the CGers that TNT would have tightened security instead of sweeping everything under the rug. This was bound to happen with the site getting hacked. Although the site used to be very secure - you have to change with the times and tighten things up and make repairs/improvements when needed. Security measures that worked a year ago - most of us know are not sufficient for today. It is a sad sad day for neopets and tons of neopets users. Hope this wakes them (TNT) and makes them smell the coffee and they take some positive action this time.

Yeah, the sad thing is that they aren't even admitting to it. They're just putting the blame on the users. Which, yeah, I understand, some people are noobs and make their accounts super easy to hack. But sometimes it's just ordinary people who get hacked, and TNT puts the blame on them. I see that they're attempting to fix the problem by freezing users whose accounts have been hacked, which sort of helps (I guess? Some users can't even remember their info so they lose either way), but it shouldn't be happening in the first place so they need to focus elsewhere.

Thats kind of scary that someone could hack neopets and freeze all of our accounts.

I wouldn't think tnt would make something like that possible so I don't think so. But they could do it one by one-I really hope not though.
