The most I've paid is 286k I wouldn't pay any more than that.

I was told by several people never to pay more than about 250k. I paid about 235k. The fees you collect HAVE to all go to the notice board ad or TNT will freeze you for selling graphics for neopoints. You are not allowed to make a profit from selling ad space. So, based on that, you just divide the 4 mill ad by the number of buttons or categories and that's how you figure out how much to charge. You may have to adjust it a bit for people that have more than one button or large and small categories or things like that, but just keep it fair. :) ~ Love books? Since my shop is wearables the most i would pay is 300k. And of course the bigger the button, the more traffic you will get.

do you guys think you honestly get that much back out of it as far as profits?

I'm just trying it for the first time (started Saturday), so I'll let you know. I did link it under "misc" so I can track the shop hits on it by itself. So far, I would say yes. I normally get most of my hits from the shop wiz, but since the ad got placed, I'm getting quite a few from that. I'm in a great mall, but that 4 mil ad is giving me more than twice the hits my mall does, and it hasn't even "peaked" yet (hit the top of the page). It's supposed to get the best traffic next weekend, when it peaks. I went ahead and tried it because most of the people I asked said yes, it's worth it. I normally profit about 80k to 150k a day from my shop, so it will only take 2-4 days to pay for, so it was worth trying out. :) ~ Love books? Oh, Taylor, I just noticed your shop size is only 87. I don't think I would try it yet with a shop that small. I don't think you could stock it fast enough to sell enough items to make it worth it. I would wait until your shop is at least size 250 or so. Does anyone else have thoughts on this? Anyone tried it with a smaller shop? ~ Love books? So you won't experience as much traffic as 1st or 2nd. So whatever your resulting profits are just remember what it could have been way more if it was 1st or 2nd. I know that being 3rd on peak day certainly doesn't give you back as many np. :P

So shop size can play as a factor by limiting your shop stock amount.

Paintbrushes, Morphing, etc. is an exception to a lot of stock of course. In turn you might still be successful with a small shop size like 100.

(: Then again, I am a Collectables shop owner and my button was in the middle of the ad... So I'm not sure how that would work out if somebody, say, had a button on top and did Wearables or something of the sort, that could get kind of hectic, but I'm not sure what you sell xoallboutdahoopsox so yep.
