if you're gonna do stand-alone you'll have to work hard. price a certain percentage of your stuff at lowest in your wizard group, put up boards on the shop ads chat, participate in 4m nbads. what category is it that you're wanting, just out of curiosity? N&F has like a zillion branches - surely that category will be open at some point?

yeah, try furniture or wearables but it'd be best to even join a crap mall for that category... well maybe if the banner is crap/too big you might actually do worse but usually, it's better to join some mall under those categories and lol @ zillion :P

N&F is okay. I was in one of their malls a while ago. They were decent enough to take me in as a wearables/backgrounds shop in one of their main market branches back when my shop size was only like 350. At the very least I owe them for giving me that chance, I probably wouldn't have hit Main as quickly as I did if it weren't for them. But, the zillion branches thing didn't work out for me. It felt really impersonal. Good luck finding an opening somewhere in Wearables. It's a hard spot to get cuz we all want it. ;)

It started making all sorts of chugging noises and then flipped me the bird. I was mortified. Their new banner -is- an improvement over their awful pirate one, though. Still too big - I wouldn't shop there.

I think you might be able to do well on wearables without a mall, altho if you are main market I'm sure you can find a mall with that spot open... There are like hundreds of malls out there XD
