Wow!! Thats crazy!!

I see that kind of price craziness on probably one item per month. Marrowblade jumped from around 8k to around 70k overnight. It stayed up there for about 3 months, then began slowly working back down. Ukali went from around 19k to around 80k overnight, and then over the last few months is coming back down. Cherry Jelly Sword went from around 65k to 300k overnight. That was almost a year ago and it's still mostly UB, ranging between 100k and 200k. There are many more examples. I have no idea why it happens, but the items do seem to come back down after awhile. The spikes don't bother me as much as the drops. After I invested in about 10 "A mysterious Valentines Card" for 85k ish (they were around 99k and predicted to shoot up to UB at Valentines Day) they suddenly dropped down to 30k, stayed there for a year, then dropped to around 8k and now they are just starting to creep back up. I still have 10 of them, waiting to sell when/if they ever climb to where they were. I hate loosing huge chunks of np that way! This happens with a wearable almost every single night. I wake up & realize I've sold out of it. Go to grab one off the shop wiz and it's either 10-20k higher or nearly unbuyable. -.-

Oh my gosh! A very dramatic example just happened. I went to my shop history just now and had sold 3 quest books of the same title, so I went to restock them and BAM!!!! I swear this was a junk book selling for less than 1k and all of a sudden it is...90k!!! I sold 3 of them today for 1771 each (which means I bought them for 500-700 np each). I'm sure I restocked them in the last few days. This was a JUNK book! I mean, like being given out by petpet park or something. It's only an R50 for gosh sake. Yowsa! That's a bigger, faster jump than the jumps I usually see. Really does make you wonder what happened. :o (the book was "Gourmet Cooking For Your Pet") ~ Love books? Same sort of thing just happened with Orange Juice. SW price was around 300-400 yesterday, now it's over 10k. CRAZY! EDIT: Just saw the Bonju thread - now it all makes sense...

Do you think the prices will be lower over the next few days, or higher? I managed to grab one "Gourmet Cooking for your Pets" and I'm planning to auction it, but I don't know whether to do it now or wait a day or two. ~ May ~ Playful I believe prices might lower, since more people might manage to snipe them/restock them and then less people will need the avatar - also the people willing to spend all that much are already finishing it... Except for a handful of people who don't know yet cause they were offline...
