Let's predict hits/sales

Ok. In the summer, the top shops were around 1500- 2100ish hits a day. Now it's dwindling to 800ish per day and canadians have still not gone back to school (they go back on the 8th) By roughly how much have sales dropped for you in the past once the september threshold is reached? Personally, mine has dropped by about 60% but just curious how everyone does :o

Not to mention many US schools on the east and west coast start after labor day. My sales are hurting, and NB ads are no longer worth it.

I'm beginning to think this year is going to be yet another record in worst sales. (it seems to get worse each year)

My sales over the weekend were amazingly great. Today, in terms of sales, has been the worst day for me since stocking wearables. Makes me look forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

My sales havent really dropped much, maybe it was the change in malls tho ? :P Oh and canadian colleges went back already, high schools too maybe... but university starts after labour day. =)

@ Jaspeh: Nope, I live in Canada and grade 10 starts for me on the 8th. And I still wish I had a longer break *lol* Do you guys really think that NB ads aren't going to be worth it? :( I guess maybe not for the less popular categories, but what about training,wearables,furniture, the more popular ones? :o

I'm just *guessing* though, since my weekend sales were pretty on par.

Oh, well in Quebec, College/Cegep started a week ago :o Thats weird that they all start at different times :P Tho Im pretty sure that everyone will be back in classes after Labour Day :( I stay on the 4mil ads throughout the year. Theres usually less ads, so less competition, so more likely to get top peak spots, which helps :)

Hm. My profit is still the same as it was over the summer. The pattern of my profit per day is during the spring season since I have started malling with a shop size of 200+, I gathered a low 50k-100k day. Then once I started being serious in malling during the summer, I gathered a sales of around 150k-200k a day. Now that summer is ending or for some it has ended, my profit per day is still quite the same. On the weekends, I don't really see a difference on my profit in contrast with my profit during the weekdays. Maybe because I'm not on any 4M advertisements anymore or I don't come online as often as I should. However, I do try to advertise in the shop boards whenever I am online to get some extra profits.
