That is a real hog, but the camera is very close and the kid is very far away. And yeah, he could have killed the hog with that gun. My dad has. I bet that hog is around 400-600 pounds. We've had a real hog come in our yard and scare our horses half to death. I chased it off with a four wheeler and it was almost as big as the four wheeler. It was domestic, not a wild one I might add, but wild ones can get pretty darn big.
