Anyone remember that april fools day joke that TNT did? They had a pay-per-click system implemented that cost you between 20 and 100 or so NP for each click you did. People on the chat boards hated it. Each time they posted or checked for posts, their total owed increased. I had a good laugh about it.. mostly because all my clicks only cost me a few thousand NP each day, and that was a pittance. But also because in the back of my mind, I knew it couldn't be real. The sad part was, there were a lot of people who self-froze as a result.. you know, 'stick it to the man' sorta thing. Can't rightly remember how long they had it up for, but whatever NP you paid via the system was returned to you. And TNT had some words about how they didn't expect people to A) be so caught up in it, B) not realise it was an april fools day joke, C) Freeze their own accounts so quickly. Still, I get a kick out of these things. Much like Speak Like A Pirate Day. Isn't that coming up again soon?

My son went on wild goose chases every time he'd ask a question or make a comment (not a surprise since he runs to Faerie Furniture when the Island Mystic tells him he will be attacked by meepits while buying furniture in Faerieland and what-not, LOL).
