Where do Paintbrushes Come From?

Can you list the places paintbrushes come from -- the original source please, not SW / SSW / TP / Auctions -- I am curious where the gajillion paintbrushes come from. 1. Random Events - Like playing Cliffhanger is one I know of. 2. Something Has Happened - You find a paintbrush -- does that happen? Thanks!

Underwater Fishing, in the editorial someone mentioned that they got a paintbrush from there. (It's really rare) I think I got a Tyrannian Petpet Brush from Wheel of Monotony, once, waaaaaaay back.

I'm not sure if neopets still does it anymore, but premium members can get paintbrushes after referring a certain amount of people.

I didnt see it mentioned yet, but sometimes they are also prizes for competitions (CC I think? Recently had a Pirate PB as prizes, maybe the other competitions do it too)
