this should definitely increase business. my profits were pretty decent when i stocked bakery/sweets, but when i added in food & drinks, they increased pretty dramatically. so i'd say go for it! {:

Are you part of a mall or independent? I think adding food and drinks can only help. I was the opposite of you. I started off with food and drinks and then added bakery/sweets items at about size 300. My sales have been boosted by having both. You could start experimenting with a few food items and see how they sell. I recommend doing some shop wizard research first. More food items have been added to the General Store and are not worth restocking anymore. I found this out the hard way yesterday. I noticed a huge price drop in ice creams and bought a bunch thinking I could make a profit and bleh, they were being sold in the general store, thus the fast depreciation. I know prices change a lot, but recently food prices have been going lower and lower, much to my irritation. I also recommend only stocking from Neopian shops, checking prices on the shop wizard. That way you can maximize your profits.
