Does Island Market Really Make a Difference Compared to Spooky?

I'm currently about 750k away from the very very bottom of the Island marketplace (with another 800k, I'd be able to upgrade to the last hut there but be almost broke) XD Since arriving at Spooky Market at the end of June, I haven't gotten a single hit from there :( Just wondering if I should go hardcore in the next few days and upgrade (even though I'll be broke) or hold onto the nps for a little while. How many hits do you usually get from the Island Marketplace (compared to the 0 in spooky at least xD) I have a wearables shop so I should get a few, or at least I hope... Yeah...upgrade and leave myself broke, or wait until I have a bit more nps on hand? Thanks in advance :)

~ May ~ With my toy shop, on the spooky market I never got one single hit from the hut, even if I was on the top of the hut.. Now I'm around the last or the one before the last hut on island and I get ,randomly, 2 or 3 hits a day (sometimes none, but sometimes, 2 or 3) so I say it does make a difference, but not a big one... If you want to go for main market eventually, sure, if not.. I don't think so

It was quite awhile ago for me, but I remember it being more than worth it.

Hmm...sounds good. :) @ May: I am thinking of eventually hopping to main market, so this will have to be done sooner or later. :) Just dunno how I'll get back to making nps once I leave myself broke *lol*

I hope the huts help! I am so close to finally making it into Spooky! I am currently 254...about 130 sizes bigger than I was 2 months ago :)

Yeah i think Island is better. Even when I'm top of spooky, i still only get about 20-50 hits from it *lol* Top of island, i got 100 but it's extremely rare that i'm top of island

It's much competitive in the Mystery Island hut compare to Spooky hut. Currently I'm in the spooky hut even though I can be in the Mystery Island hut. But when you get a chance to be on top of a hut in the Mystery Island, go for it. It's much better there than the Spooky. But if you don't, just settle for the top hut in Spooky.

For me a move to Island made a difference, like you Spooky gave me no hits. Now I get maybe 2-5 hits from Island. Not much but still better. I think people have trouble finding the Haunted Marketplace link since it is not a part of the map like it is on Mystery Island. Didn't even know about the Spooky Marketplace myself until I learned about huts here so I certainly did not use it for quests or other shopping earlier on. More importantly the growth to Mystery Island gave me more shop space. That let me put in lots of cheap junk like fish for one or two neopoints that I see as free advertising. When I have that one NP scrawnyfish in my shop anybody searching for a scrawnyfish for whatever reason has a chance of visiting my store. Even if they buy nothing else I might get bookmarked for when they have a fairy quest. Multiply that times all the low priced junk I picked up for less and it does bring in more NPs. Also I should note on the low end of the Island Marketplace I have not had to jockey for position much. Seems like a lot of the stores are on rarely active accounts so I have been able to stay at the top or under shops with no display so the visibility is good.
