My Mall is imploding! Would a stand alone Wearables/BG shop be better than . . . ?
According to the page, 607 is the current minimum shop size... ------------------------------------------------------------------- ~~ Come visit my map shop ~~
Yeah. But I saw Kara's board yesterday asking for 800 since its one of the best, if not the best, category in a mall. But you never know. She's a nice person. =) Edit: Oops. Her thread is actually up right now. I just bumped it.
WOW! Selling: Maps, Neggs, Stamps, Coins, Cards, ETC! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=1434sweet#p
I agree with Kirsty! Stick with what you love and is profitable! Let us know how it goes if you do decide to stand alone because I'd be interested to know the real difference a mall banner makes in a shop (hits as well as the psychological impact it has on shoppers). ~ Mimi
After a couple weeks of a stand alone shop, then a week filling in with a Mall as a temp spot, here is my experience. Stand alone: Shop hits didn't change much . Sales went down & Profit went up a bit (up 40k profit per day) for my "catagory". I did less SW pricing & Rs'ing took less time. I sold random other Items from my SDB & snipes making quite a bit more in Sales & Profit, but I didn't record any "non-catagory" info. Temp spot: Shop hits doubled most days (250-400 a day), I did a lot of SW pricing. the Mall used the &mall tag. I was getting 20-40 hits a day from that. Sales went up alot & Profit was about the same. Rs'ing took a bit longer. I only did my Catagory. The biggest plus to being Stand alone is being able to sell anything I want & play around with my Shop Front without having to worry about any "rules". On the other hand I do miss Malling & have taken another temp Mall spot and renewed my listing here "Looking for a Mall" *lol*
