Christmas Holidays

I was wondering over the Christmas Holidays how many weeks do the schools close down for in America please ? Or if you work like me ;) do you get time off ?

In my job I may only have xmas day off although I think my roster this year gives me the Sat & Sun off as well so I have 3 days off We can work all days of the year except xmas day We have an agreement with the department if we are on an away trip on the Xmas eve they will fly us home that night..
