I haven't been able to restock my toy / plushie shop since the beginning of december. Yesterday I finally started to restock it. And OMG, a few toys have inflated from being 1000 - 5000 nps to over 100k! And that in a couple of days.. And I don't have those in my SDB.. *cry*
One of it being Rubber Toy Bow and Arrow, and a couple of toys from an old plot.
If it only was 1 item, I wouldn't bother to much for asking, but it's been at least 3, and I haven't even restocked half of my shop, so there's probably a few more that I will find.
What happened? Did I miss a big event?

Well it was bound to happen. Watch for some of them to fall back down, but any time you're dealing with old plot prizes and item code prizes (like the bow & arrow), they could shoot up without notice.
If you noticed Parlax Plushie shooting up, that's because loui33lou and his friend(s) tried to group inflate them. They were ub and 200-800k on the TP two days ago...now back down to 70k on my ssw, and probably falling :P

I was just suprised it was so sudden. Normally when toys inflate, it takes years lol, and even then they only double in price.
One of the other plushies is Commander Valka Plushie. It went from about 20k to 1.6 mil O_o

I ran into this issue when I briefly did toys in a previous mall. Be careful of the false inflators, I would see one every couple weeks that made no sense and would just not stock it until it eventually would deflate back to normal price.

Yes it happens in furniture. Cloud Meerca Flower went from 4K to 80K in just a few hours and dropped back to about 10K a day or two later.
Sometimes one person decides to hoard some and it starts the upward spiral. A few mallers get sold out and snap up a few and up it goes. *clap*
Then reality sets in and everyone starts to bail out and down it plunges :(
