Mall Ethics (or lack of)

I think it would be interesting to open up a discussion on "mall ethics", this might even help the new mallers/malls not step on toes so to speak. So what are the "unspoken rules" of malling that you know of? :)

No stealing petpages either: http://www.neomallers.com/uploads/_SCREENSHOTS/9898_i31313/fireboltma_steals_catalogu.jpg --------------------------------- Dmitri aka "the insensitive one" Maller, restocker Kirsty siggy stealer Second Best wearables shop owner ever!

Mall hopping - this is a good one - try not to jump from mall to mall to mall to mall It looks like you can't commit yourself and is an inconvenience to the mall managers trying to fill your spot. This will affect your chances of getting into a good mall later on.

For the maller, I would say stick to your category, and what you are 'allowed' so sell. I think it's impolite to encroach on your fellow mallers categories by selling their items.

Always let you mall supervisor know when you are going to be gone for more than a week. We tend to worry when you don't pay your ad fees or return any neomails.

Speaking of #3, I was RSing today and came upon a mall that is pretty much copying Xmart's shop banners. "The Palazzo" or something like that. - Be literate. (Maybe that goes in with #1?) - Don't change categories every week (unfortunately is a bit guilty of this *unsure*)
2.) Don't recruit multiple members from another mall??
Yeah...not to mention, more times than not...those members are going to tell their mall leader what you did and that mall leader is going to tell other mall leaders what you did and you are making a very bad rep for your mall.
3) Try to be original with your graphics and or mall names rather than leeching from other malls!
hmmmmm . . . It's taking so long to find a MM spot for Wearables I have toyed with the idea of starting a Mall again. Guess the name eXMart is out Þ~~~ :* . . . back to the Drawing board

eMart? Come on, everybody knows iMart is much better. Just stick an "i" infront of everything and you've got game :* --------------------------------- Dmitri aka "the insensitive one" Maller, restocker Kirsty siggy stealer Second Best wearables shop owner ever!
