Well, I'm still relatively new to the category, but I can tell you I love stocking food! You get a whopping 27 shops, plus the daily food and the Money Tree to stock from instead of the measly five plus the Second Hand Shoppe (Thrift Shoppe) for grooming/wearables. And I didn't even have Cogs Togs to stock from either, so I only had four! I couldn't tell you an accurate description of my profits, as I don't use the Portal anymore, but I can tell you everyday I empty my shop till with at least 10K, maybe more. Most of the time I don't advertise my shop, unless you count the link(s) from the directories I have been put into, the link of the mall board where it says shop (I have a page dedicated to shopping at the RFM), and the link in my signature both here and on Neo. Oh, and I also have a counter that links to the shop as well on my lookup, but I hardly ever get hits from those, or the petpages. =/ EDIT: I mostly get my shop hits from SW or bookmarks/other, and I suspect the "other" part is from my link on the Neoboards. I went food/drinks, as the bakery position was already taken, but if I had a chance, I would take bakery/sweets in a heartbeat, I love stocking those foods, and they sell really well. I have played around and chatted with fellow food stockers and back in the day I liked having the whole category to play with it gives you a wide variety and gives you a chance to have it all and make tons of np. It is not always easy finding a mall that has it all in one a category (many have it split!) The problem that seems to plague them at one time or another is the CONSTANT restocking. You really have to have the time to RS especially if you have a busy mall or large shop size.
