Neo Toolbar FF Mac

I'm trying to get the toolbar to work on my macbook, so far without success. I've modified the install.rdf file so that FF doesn't tell me that it is incompatible with my version (3.6) and it actually appears to install fine. Upon restarting FF however, the toolbar has the message "Retrieving buttons for Neopets Toolbar ...", and nothing else, as in the first screenshot. The same thing happens running the windows version of FF under wine (second screenshot) but oddly it works fine using this same windows version in VMware (final screenshot) Does anybody here know much about FF extensions, and what might be causing this?

ooooh! I don't have an answer to your question but I do have a question! Do you use the portal on your mac?

Yep, using VMware :) Didn't install correctly using Wine unfortunately.

Is VMWare a big file? Do you suggest it? Is it stable? What else can you tell me about it? *gets excited*

VMware Fusion is 175.3 MB and Windows XP is around 600 MB. It is stable, but you're supposed to pay for it. More info here http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/

Doesn't the requirements under the Neopets Toolbar say under the requirements something like "Firefox V. 1.5"? --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.

Yes, but there is a workaround that I can get working for windows firefox, but not the mac version

Would like to get the toolbar too!! :D
