What is your preferred Instant Messenger?

I've gone back and forth between AIM and MSN ,but currently use MSN more unless I'm on my phone. But my MSN have been down since Thursday night. *cry* Has anyone ever had there's go down for this long? o-o -kicks Microsoft- My computer has a strange aversion to microsoft things so it might just be me. :P Also which messenger do you prefer?

Yes, you can give the smilies but how will you really know what they feel like? Plus I personally think that talking on the phone is much more sociable because those that usually talk on messengers aren't really "your" friends but those that you just associate with. Microphone + Video. Great way to communicate through the internet. And Dmitri, are you talking about cell phones (question mark - my keyboard is not giving me the question mark thing). I`ve never had a cell phone so I wouldn`t know. I`m probably one of those rare people that don`t have one. LOL. I just don`t really see the point of it (obviously, I see the convenience but whatever). Plus its a waste of money when you can just use payphones or home phone. Way cheaper. Payphone costs more than my cell phone lol.
