I'm sure there are many similar topics to this one floating around so you might want to have a read around and see what you can find. Best can mean different things to different people. For me best is something I will enjoy and not get bored of, but which is still a high profit earner. I agree with Kirsty - but would just like to expand a bit. Best can also mean what you do with the category you're given. Most people wouldn't consider collectables a good category but look at what, for example, coco_cornocopia (I think that's her username) has done with them! Just fantastic.

I've enjoyed petpets thoroughly, and I imagine Foods would be easy to stock. So many kinds and at so many cheap prices. Wearables would be greatly profitable, but it sounds frustrating when so inflate insanely and names change.

Food, Drinks or bakery and sweets. I have made the most profit I ever have before in those categories and I am a stand alone shop right now XD I am looking to join a mall under bakery and sweets and food and drinks though if I can find one XD Edit: One thing though, it is true you have to restock constantly. I wake up with about 10-50k in my till and I have to restock about 90 items so be aware of that ^^

My suggestion: 1) Maps & Neggs (if you the time to advertise) 2) Faerie Quest Items (really fast selling even if you only have 200NP-500NP mark-up) 3) Wearables and Neohome & Garden (not really fast selling until you have a good shop size) 4) Training (if you are lazy) 5) Whatever items you prefer to stock. I have been doing packrat for a while and I like it a lot. If I'm in a well established, well known mall then people buy my things even if the price is a little too high. What i usually do is buy things under 100np and then sell them all at 100np and I usually make a hefty profit each day. sometimes people even buy me out

You have to be interested with what you sell. I have sold Weapons/Magic, Petpets, Luck/Avatar, 1000np deals, and Toys/Plushies. I made the most profit with weapons, but I was not interested in the category. I love Toys/Plushies so its the best for me. :D

I have been flipping around the last year or so and found that there is nothing for me but Tpys, Usuki's and Plushies. They are my favorite and I have a certain Joy I get Rsing the shop too which is more important than any money I make or do not make.
