Multi-Select / Edit?
Is there a way to select multiple items from the database for quick editing all at once? For example, I want to change a whole bunch of items from the default Notify level to a different one (i.e. I want to stock all Faerie Quest items more than other items). This could also be used for price changes, comments, multiplier, etc. Another unrelated question (instead of making another thread) - what format is the local item DB in? It looks like a proprietary flat file. Thanks! -Zixi

Sorry, I suppose I should have specified this is for the Portal Pro 9.5 :) I didn't see an 'edit post' option, so I had to double post :(

Unfortunately no :( The database is stored in a manner similar to the comma delimited format but it's a bit different since i modified it. Granted it's not that great but through the system I have up right now, it is able to process about 11,000-15,000 entries per second (the customer DB) whereas using VB6's built in listbox feature caps this speed at about 100-400 a second, which drops significantly as the database gets larger

The first post can only be edited by monitors, just so you know. The portal is no longer to be updated, so if it is not already possible, which I don't know, it won't be, unless features like that are put in the online version that is coming soon. --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.

That's why I was hoping for the source code in the other thread, I'm sure I could add those features for myself at least :) Either way, the new online version will probably be more useful to me anyway, being at multiple locations for my Malling :) I hope there will be a way to import the DB into the online version (but I'll leave that to other threads that are probably already discussing this :) ). Thanks for the quick replies!
