Im not referring to you but there's a ton of people that contact me either via personal message on this site or over neopets... even with all those notices and usually, it's something i've answered in the F.A.Q. of this site, the forums, or something that everyone can benefit A support ticket is probably the only way for someone outside the site to get in contact with admin, but restrict it to password resets only

thanks for being reasonable about this. Preventing the issue on neopets would be nice and should be avoidable. maybe you could even set something up for to send people off of neo so that you can respond to the issue at hand and just gentle send them to the link on neomallers to solve there problem or that you can chat to sort out the problem. more than likely you have gone through these thoughts yourself knowing way more about coding than I do. me i leave that to my son who is only 16 and making a decent living at it while going to highschool. well keep me posted as to when you get your account back. :) cheers rein

Maybe a "forget password" button that will link to a page saying "Email me at [email protected] if you forgot your password. I will reset it for you and send a message back. Any other issues must be posted on the neomallers forum. If they are sent to this email, they will be ignored." Or something of the sort? You could create an email just for this?

Well i can get the IP address pretty easily using simple web browser capabilities but I'll probably go the form route and insist account support only Plus i dont think many people will know what an IP address is (or how to get it) if i asked them to provide it lol

Just give instructions. Open Command Prompt under Start--All Programs--Accessories. Type ipconfig There will be multiple things labled "IP Adress". Record the one that is made up of all numbers. That is your IP address that is needed.. --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.

Look, if they can't hold CTRL and C at the same time, click another place, then hit CTRL and V, they should not be using the computer. Just saying. --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.

I mean just click a few links and You're here from neomallers information. http://my4.statcounter.com/project/standard2/visitor_map.php?project_id=2544111&PHPSESSID=2283e79fcabf1b43ab6469d9caa39ab6 I can see my IP address, city, what last page I clicked on from the world view. It's kinda creepy. --- Step outside, take a breath of fresh air, then look down to see if you have a new text message.
