What is a good price mark-up on petpets?
I will be changing my stock to petpets and be a stand-alone shop, but I will be participating in a bi-weekly 4 million noticeboard ad. I just need help on what I should price my stock.

Maybe so I would think petpets would be a really good category. The problem with neggs was that the only ones that really sold was the very cheap ones.

~ May ~ It depends a LOT on the size of your shop and the price of the petpet, obviously. If the petpet is worth 200 np, I don't think you can charge more than 1k, but if it's worth 50k, you can charge 60k, easy, if your shop is a decent sized one, in a good mall. And i mean, size Island Market or more, in a mall with people your size or higher. At least that's how I see it, with toys and every other cattegory I´ve kep up with. I had a friend that sold those KQ petpets for 1k and he was a size 100, couldn't keep up with the sales, restocking daily. So it's all a matter of how much YOU sell.

If your going to be a stand alone shop especially if you are not MM you will find that unless you price at SW prices then you will not get that many sales. Even in a mall you would probably still need to price some of your stock at the top of your letter column no matter what category you choose

[font=verdana] Your best choice would be to price some items at wiz or slightly above and others overpriced. It gets SW customers into your shop and many may buy other items on impulse. I would join a mall. It may not be a lot of mall hits as it's not MM but that 1 hit per day that buys 1,000 NP worth of items may mean 365k in a year.
