I'm pretty confused... I added my page numbers mini-banner yesterday (I was in the Fountain Mall before it fell apart, so I didn't "steal" it :P) and when I look at my shop in the marketplace, it's not centered and makes my shop look disorganized. Take a look - my username's i_hate_backstabbers.

Of course, I do have right before the code for it, and when you click to go into my shop, it is centered as it should be.
I thought it might've been the hut I was in, so I went up to the next hut, and it's still happening. I've had the banner in my shop before and never had this problem...
What's the deal with it?? Haha. Any help would be appreciated!
Coding help - why isn't this centered?

Whoops, I guess the center html didn't go through! I meant to say that of course, I do have < center > right before it...

try wrapping that piece of code in a center tag of its own.
But i wouldnt worry. It only matters on firefox/good browsers. Most people use IE and the marketplace looks absolutely horrendous in it (everything is compressed into a half column and squished to the left)
At least in Internet Explorer 6 (which is default for Windows XP)

Looks just fine in my browser (Google Chrome) so I'm guessing it might be the issue Dmitri is talking about, on IE 6?

Coooool, thanks so much guys! It didn't occur to me that it might be a browser issue! You're right, Dmitri. On Safari it's shifted, while on Firefox it's centered. I can only imagine what it's like on IE, haha, haven't used that in ages!
Thanks again for solving the puzzle for me :).
Edit: Yay, Soldier, that worked!! Now it's perfect in all browsers. Weird that all that was needed was a space. Much appreciated :).

Neo does a lot of screwy things with your HTML as well anyway.
Like, NB ads are all in their own little iFrames, so you can do lots of stuff there.
But in your hut, everything is in one page, AND tables apparently aren't supported, and CSS, gah!
There's little 'work arounds' like this for lots of NeoPets pages, yay!

I HATE the CSS block filter.
Why can't they just block the Java script/cookie grabber/fake login codes??

Because it is possible to embed such things into a css file and cause it to act stupid on stupid browsers (i.e. I.E)
