First, I think the word "hut" needs to be defined. There are 3 Marketplace in Neopia, Spooky (http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hall_market.phtml), Island (http://www.neopets.com/island/island_market.phtml) and Main Marketplace (http://www.neopets.com/market_map.phtml). At the moment, I believe the minimum shop size to appear in the smallest of the 3 (Spooky) is 281, so until you get there, don't worry about this whole hut positioning business. Now, you'll notice that each of these marketplaces has various clickable areas, which is what we refer as huts. Each of these "huts" holds 10 shops and, obviously, the top spot gets the most exposure. This is what people refer to when they mention "top of your hut". Once you're big enough to be in a marketplace, your goal is to be either at the top or near the top of your hut. You have to check the huts regularly and plan your shop size increases accordingly. When 2 or more shops are at the same size, they are sorted in decreasing alphabetical order.
