Finish clearing out SDB or back to Category

Items: 2,815 - Qty: 12,104 Would it be a better idea to keep clearing out my SDB or to instead go back to a category? I've been attempting to clear it out for over a month and a bit - it is getting far better but it does sell slower and my sales are far lower then when I was in a specific category (Books). I seem to accumulate items as fast as I sell them :* Any ideas or suggestions?

I feel that having category items only in my SDB is way more helpful then having that & junk in there. I would sell out even if it takes a while. Go on a two year break and leave it all! Most likely alot of the stuff will shoot up in price:P
