Don't you hate this?! *complain*
Okay here goes. So you price an item one week fairly well priced on the shop wizard but then so many people start trying to under-price you that your stock becomes overpriced. How do you prevent this or keep it to a reasonable level? I hate when this happens because all of my stock seems overpriced and I don't even realize it! DX I am getting tired of having to reprice so many items in my shop :(

Pull the item and put it in your SDB for a while, wait for the price to rise again. Many prices cycle, so eventually it'll go up to your level again. It's like playing the stock market in that way.

XD & it's not just one item it's my whole shop :( I want to price lower but if I do I might not make a profit, and if I do make a profit it will be slim. When I am re-pricing right now, the items that I have in my shop at the time of pricing were fairly reasonable and now they are just overpriced items and I don't want my shop to be like that. I mean a LOT of my stock too. :( ----------- Morceau De Gâteau™ http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=esphier Cake anyone?

The question is 'are your prices overpriced, or are the others underpriced.' And if you can answer that question, you're on the right road to making a good profit in the future :)

In situations like that, there are several things that can be done, it really just depends on your patience, your pure, and what price you paid for your old stock. A. Leave the items in your shop. Depending on what they are (I did not look at your shop, so I dont know what you mainly stock), they will eventually sell one here one there. Its really item specific though, some items are just plain HTS even with very good prices. B. Lower your stock price to the current good price C. Leave the items in your shop, and try to snipe some of the same items at great snipes. The key is to try to get snipes below the current good price. For each snipe, Take the profit you would make from the snipe (if you sold at the current going good price) and divide it by the quantity of that item you currently have in your shop. Subtract that number from your current price and add the snipe to your shop stock. D. Remove the problematic item from your shop and stash it in your SDB. Now go restock with fresh stock. Once the price rises again, throw the old stock back in your shop. A and B if you can either still profit (or come out zero) if you sell your current stock at the going wiz prices C and D if the current wiz prices are lower than what you paid for your stock. For me, when prices fall, I lower and take less profits. If prices fall below what I pay, I use method C and work my way down to meet current prices. The better the snipes I find, the quicker I can adjust to current SW prices whilst never taking a loss. Here lately though I have not cared if I am the cheapest or near cheapest on the wiz, its just too bouncy lately :( -------------------------------------------------------------- The STUFF - Mainly Codestones @ reasonable prices http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=whispering_acara&misc
