I sometimes have someone in my 1 page shop for 30 mins. What's the deal with that. It happens a lot. It's really kinda weird. The only time I am in someone elses shop is when I'm looking for something. Therefor I just click what I wanted and get out. So it takes like 5 secs max. The deal?

When the number says 1 it's you.. when it says 2 it's you and the shopper.
OR
The system is slow, and doesn't work like real-time.

There is a set cooldown period and a certain interval before the person visiting your shop "expires"
It's based on the same algorithm to calculate the number of online users on this site here, except it's abit smarter in the sense that people who are in your hut dont count as people in your shop like the whosamungus counter.

well, sometimes i do find lengthy shop visits, they're noticeable because nothing gets sold, but you come back 10 minutes for restock, and they are still there.
