Got on neo, everything is gone :O

So I decided to get on neopets after a few months of not playing just to see what was new and I noticed a few things. My bank was cleaned and my shop (till) is empty aside from a few items that I never priced (at least a mil stock that apparently sold and the till was cleaned.) The funny thing is I have like 93k np on hand which leads me to believe I wasn't hacked/cg'ed/whatever nonsense goes on these days. My pw wasn't that difficult to guess which was my bad, but my PIN isn't used for anything else and isn't saved anywhere. Is it possible some sort of glitch happened? I canceled my premium, I would hope that doesn't have anything to do with it (that would be kind of hilarious actually.) So what do you think happened? Sorry if this is in the wrong section.)

Never heard of such a glitch, sounds more like a hack, either by brute forcing your PW or an old cookie grab. Just because they didn't 'clear you out' doesn't mean you weren't hacked. In fact, only taking SOME of what you have is a good technique to confuse the victim and make them not take necessary precautions, so you can do it again and again and again. I would suggest doing the security tango, change your password, PIN what you should, and be careful about your browsing habits in the future. Sorry for the losses, but at least you still have your account, and that's what REALLY counts.

I am very sorry for you to lose everything (except 92k) It would definitely not be a glitch :P The biggest chance was a CG but do you remember what you did before you went on a 3 month break because that was around the time when many people got CGed. (like visiting a uber cheap shop, neoboard link?

I'm wondering if you were using a hotmail account for your Neopets email. I lost about 1000 rare or expensive items sometime at the end of April, and as far as I can tell, they got in via psswd requests to my hotmail account.
