How is the neo-economy doing?

I haven't been on neo for a while so I was wonder, how is the economy going? Are wearables still still the best thing to sell? I used to restock books, but i'm not sure if it's still worth it. I remember there was a general deflation trend on the site a while ago (maybe a year or two), is it still like that or has inflation come back?
