I'd say about 2 or so. And give it a chance for maybe 3 weeks since there some weeks that are just terrible but great the next, etc

Perception on this: 1) I'd say 1-3 depending on your financial status. 2) Personally, I've only gotten a few hits from the NB Ad using the counter but I hit the 1M NP sales/per day mark when I had advertised my shop a little more at shop boards. This doesn't usually happen as I always advertise at shop boards but I personally think that 4M Ad added a little flair for people to actually check my shop out. So really, the answer to your question is yes you should continue if you make the effort on advertising your shop also. Its nearly impossible to rely on just the advertisements for more sales. You have to at least give some effort. 3) 3-4 times depending on the peaks that the advertisement is posted. Keep track on all of the posted advertisement whether it will peak first, second or third. Once you have gathered the information in a few tries then you can make a decision whether if you still did not enough sales when the advertisement peaked at first. I hope that helped! EDIT: I went to neoboards and replied to buyers and within 10 minutes, I had gotten close to 100k sales. It just proves to you that advertising beyond the NB AD is beneficial and a plus also. I'd say go with one first starting off, until you're comfortable and then see if you'd like to join a second. That's just my opinion though :D

1 or 2 a week I think. It also depends how high up or if your poster get's 1st. If they get 2nd profits are much lower. Any lower then 2 and your basically wasting your neopoints.

For me, it depends on the price. I currently do three 4 mil ads a week. I have to participate in my mall's ad which costs me 365K per ad. The other two I'm in only cost me 182K per ad. If I could find another add for under 200K, I'd probably be in 4 ads, especially with Summer rapidly approaching. But that's just me. I think 2 ads is a good start.

If you just post your link in their topics then its most likely that they will buy from you. Also, "Shop" boards aren't the only one that you should post your shop link to, there are also many neoboards in neopets (e.g. avatars, daily dare, help, etc.) that can be interested on your shop.
