I typically thought a true snipe was those rare times when someone accidentally writes the number of items they want to remove from the shop in the item price field. These are my favourites. Getting sometimes expensive and rare items that the user has multiples of, at a mere pittance of the true cost. Mind.. I've made the mistake myself. Much the same way as the sniping you guys talk about, where you just mistype the price in. I've sold a bunch of petpets at 10% cost, then gone and gave the guy a 'congrats' neomail, saying 'I wont make that mistake again', and I haven't (as far as I know); needless to say, the reduced item price was above the 1,000np needed to appear in my shop sales. I don't pay much attention to the snipes I get. But I only get excited about it when the sale price is below 1,000 and the original price is above 10,000.
