Ok I have a question, and this may seem like a stupid one to some, but I'm still curious :P What is the benefit of putting banners in your shop, that link to your shop? I mean they're already there... I've just always wondered this, and wondered if there's some magic to shop keeping I'm n00bly naive to.

It becomes beneficial once you reach a marketplace size shop since your shop shows up in the marketplace. Thus a link to your shop is necessary and the only way to create such a link is to slip it in your shop description
