LOL - I have been getting this alot lately. My username is based on part of my last name, my husband grew up being called "perp" for short and when I came into the picture his best friend jokingly called me perpette. It stuck with me.
And there are way more girls who like games than you'd think. Actually that was one of the first reasons my husband and I got along. He took me to meet his friends and I beat them all in Mortal Combat. lol But I dont think this is a new thing by any means. I and alot of "girls" I know have liked games since the days of Atari. ;)
