Sales portal questions - various
So now I'm trying out the Sales History Portal thing, since I'm here everyday for the Counter anyway ... :) And I need some moral support. First, a problem. When I uploaded 22-Apr data, I missed one item. I then pasted the one item in (or so I thought), but after confirming the process, found I'd duplicated the data or something. Instead of 19 sales, I have 29. How can I fix this? Next, I'm confused about the shopfront database. I want to add new items to my shop every week or so. Is there a correct and incorrect time to update the database to include the new items? Like, before or after I enter sales history? Finally*, I need some advice. I've used another database for about 4 years, and I have a system that has changed over time, as I've gotten used to how it works. What daily routine works best to get the most out of the portal, with the least effort? If I'm going to use it at all, I will be updating my cost info, as well as (maybe) the shopwiz database you have going. [*NOTE - when I say "Finally" ... well, just don't believe everything I say! ;) ]
