What percentage of your Hits actually buy items?

I know your percentage or ratio might be more of a guesstimate, but Im curious how everyone does. Especially, since I feel like my percentage might be low, even though my markups arent that high for my category. It might be best to disregard SW hits that only buy wiz priced items and previous buyers returning.

Like 1-3% for me.

I'm not sure I want to know mine :o Well I've gotten 130 something hits and I'd say 25-35 items sold, I think. Ugh, I'm bad at guesstimating haha xD

5% probably :[, cant wait for main market!

For me, it's a little below 50%. They mostly come from the SW, so they usually buy the item they came for.

Going back to the old NPhero counter days, mine has usually been around 20% of visits result in sales. I'm happy with that. If it's less, I need to reduce prices. [edit] Just checked - I'm averaging 18% since starting this counter. *trots off to reduce some prices*

165 hits yesterday with 41 items above 1k that sold so about 25% people that visited purchased. Oddest thing is I had 77 hits from the Shop Wiz. Which means the purposefully went to my shop... but didn't buy anything.. unless I sold a lot of <1k items..

I don't really understand how people get to your shop from the shop wizard and then not buy something? It used to happen to me all the time and I just don't get it. Unless they just clicked your username even though you weren't the lowest?

When someone comes in to a shop & buys more than 1 item it shows as 1 visit right? If this is the case & I know most of my shoppers buy a lot more than one item I think it balances itself out from the ones that just click to look. When I looked at my sales history today there was 1 person that only bought 3 items (Nicole) & I know she only came in cuz I was the cheapest. The others buy several more. I try to keep my prices away from people like Nicole that has the SSW :D
5% probably :[, cant wait for main market!
I'm not quite there yet either, but working on it! ;) How much more traffic does main market bring?
I don't really understand how people get to your shop from the shop wizard and then not buy something? ...
The other thing that confuses me, is why people follow links from NB ads and mall pages for my training/luck shop and just buy non-category over priced items like a background for example. It would make sense if they bought a training/luck item + the non category item but otherwise wouldnt it make sense to follow a wearables link if thats all they wanted lol. No complaints about sales though lol, just a funny observation. --- I guess with the percentage question I was thinking more interms of unique buyers rather then items sold, because 1 person can buy the same number of items as any X number of people, but how many items per person will fluctuate more daily then buyers in general.
