New 4mil Notice Board tracking Petpage?

There seems to be an increase in the number of people starting independent ads these days, probably partially thanks to these counters. I was thinking I would start a petpage http://www.neopets.com/~4mTracker that tracks the 4mil ads on the Notice board from post to expiration. Also I could record the history of what banners post on specific days. I figure this would help current and new posters see the competition for each day. I know this doesnt have a large audience, and some posters probably have their own personal records, but I figure it couldnt hurt to have a public resource. The page is nothing fancy atm, and it wont have all 4m Ads tracked til next Friday. If theres any similar petpages running I wouldnt run this obviously, but theres none I know of. Any suggestions? Hopefully you Indp. Posters find it helpful and bookmark it

If they were a waste, I don't think they would be so popular. I have no trouble at all making plenty of profit from mine. I fell two days behind b/c Snowy Rivers Ad didnt post til after 5/6NST pm so it seemed silly to update the petpage for a couple hours and today was just a busy day. Glad you find it helpful

Yeah. I know how it feels on missing a day. But the thing is, once you have been tracking, you will know who usually post at a specific day so basically even if you miss a day, you can kind of guess it. =) You're in for a surprise. When i mentioned missing a day before I meant just the physical updating of the petpage, but I still checked the notice board those days and knew what posted each day. But your def. right 1434sweet even I were to actually miss days I could still figure it out now that I know who posts on what days. Congrats on a successful Sat peak today :)

I know my 4 mil tracking petpage never had a huge audience, but I think a decent handful of people came to use it as a resource from time to time. The page went down for 3-4 wks since I made a dumb mistake and transferred my pet 4mtracker and lost the petpage. After that I held off resuming the page until the NB glitch was over. I just wanted to let those that might be interested know, that the page is back up and running. Tom will complete the 1st week of NB status since the glitch and in 2 more weeks the history will start to show trends again. http://www.neopets.com/~4mtracker
