Yeah I can understand the ease of doing such things to offload an overflowing sdb :P Mine gets like that sometimes too. At peak times on a weekend it can also be beneficial to chuck a bulk of junk into the money tree all at once, again just the cheaper stuff you wouldnt sell for much more than a few neopoints anyway. With your name flooding the tree it always brings a little exposure. Only tried it once or twice myself, but I know a few other people who have done it.

Hard to say for sure :) I think a lot of the people that buy the 1np items just do literally that, buy and then never give you a second thought, unless they see you then doing it again and again! I don't know though. I've got to the stage where i'm bored of stocking my shop :O Could be good to help you get a feel for what is more eye catching and therefore will sell better as you build up stock. I myself have almost all buyable wearable items in stock, and yeah, thats enough fiddling with my shop daily to be bothered to keep on top of. Wearables are super hot sellers, good luck stocking. By the way, as a further add on for the money tree thing. Not everyone visits the board as a noob. I know I sure didn't, I found them scary :P Hitting the money tree just helps hit a whole new different audience
