i got the same. my sales go way up on half price day. half my profits come from there. it almost doubled compared to any other day. i think its because thats when most people want to spend.. instead of a little all month they go overboard for one day.

Wow, thanks for posting your stats, Temps, very interesting! I've never really noticed my sales, but I do know that SSW prices drop like a rock for a few days before HPD. It's a great time to find bargains and stock up, but also a bit risky since you never know how low they will fall. I think shops get busier on or just after HPD because the prices are lower, or perceived to be lower, so people think it's a great time to buy. ~ Love books? I think it actually helps me because it is so hard for people with slower computers to stock that way. I have a new fast computer that allows me to stock extremely fast with the cheap items in teh shops. I LOVE IT!
