I thought we should have a board where everyone says alittle about themselves to get everyone to know each other better on here.

I would LOVE to meet other Neopians in RL! I don't know *anyone* who does Neopets and my friends all think I'm crazy for it. I've tried to get them interested, but they just don't understand the concept of a complex virtual world. I would love to be able to discuss Neopian things with someone in person. And I agree, it's so neat that people of all ages and nationalities have this one passion in common. It would be great to see a room full of such diverse people having fun together. We totally need to have a Neo conference!!! If those weird Star Wars fans can gather, why can't we? I'll confess to being a Neo-nerd anytime! :P ~ Love books? It's nice to hear a bit about you all. My name is Liane. I'm 24 and live in Southern California. I grew up in Hawaii, and went to college in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. (I know what you mean about all those cities, Texas. I was always confused about where I was and what county it belonged to.) I originally started playing Neopets sometime in high school. My younger cousins were talking about trading doughnuts and other food and I was intrigued. I joined soon after and now I'm the only one still playing. I just got into malling last year and I don't know what took me so long. I find it's a fun and rewarding way to spend time on Neo. I am part of the Roo Island malls, and I love it. Full of friendly, helpful mall mates. In real life, I enjoy writing and cooking and basically anything where I can create. It's my goal to be a TV writer one day.

My name is Winnie and I am sure I am the oldest person here!! I am grandma, my youngest grandson calls me nannykins and I live in Georgia so I am ganannykins! I have 2 daughters and 3 grandsons. I retired from telecommunications giant in 2005, now do volunteer work for my church. I am a NASCAR fan, enjoy watching tv and reading. I have been on neopets for 2 years, my daughter got me started and I must say I am addicted! :P I grew up in New York(Long Island), lived in New Jersey for a short time, moved to Florida and lived there until I retired. Now live in North Georgia. I just registered for this site yesterday, love the counter! nice to meet everyone! :)
