Urgent: Anyone know any good virtual dedicated servers

NeoMallers.com expires today and there's no way to renew it so i'm screwed. Site reviews also say that my current host is notorious for not replying (my last ticket is still unanswered) so if we run into problems, it might never get fixed - too risky so I'm planning to switch. NEOMALLERS.COM SITE INFORMATION: Disk Usage: 500 megabytes Bandwidth: ~250-300 Gigabytes Google Ads Revenue: Highest: $29 (month) Lowest: $0 Average: $~5 Requires MySQL (preferably 5) and php support. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are the options that I am currently considering: http://www.jaguarpc.com/vps-hosting/ (VPS One) It's 17.97 per month + $5 since i need the control panel. Bandwidth is 300GB which is concerns me since we're using 250gb a month and in April 2009, we hit 313.59 Gigs The next plan up should be enough for a while. it's 500gb a month and costs 31.47 monthly. aka $600+ per year. ouch. The other option is: http://fdcservers.net/Services/VirtualDedicatedServers But the cheapest again comes with no control panel which is problematic since I dont know how to create a database without one (I dont know why they even do that) If anyone knows any other good hosts, please let me know asap since I think we're going to be screwed (deleted) within 7 days.

Ouch. I guess it was kind of too good to be true then. Hopefully all the changes will be worth the effort.

Yeah, good thing i started today. I have a spare domain name lying around so I;ll just use that to test it. The files from this site are all downloaded and currently being uploaded to the new server as we speak *1666 more to go* As for the renaming of databases, i'll see if i can do a nasty shortcut (CTRL+F and replace)
Ouch. I guess it was kind of too good to be true then. Hopefully all the changes will be worth the effort.
and there's some issues with sub domains. We currently have the counter service at shops.neomallers.com and it's a real trick to get that working apparently on the new server =/

I don't know if you've gotten it figured out or not yet but you might try checking out http://www.webhostingtalk.com under the VPS section (or dedicated server) to try and find one that is a: good, and b: meets what you need, financially and otherwise. Wish I could help. If it was just shared hosting I'd be able to give some recommendations, but I've never had any experiences with any VPS or dedicated server hosts so I have no clue. I didn't realize this site used that much bandwidth :o

Thanks. I take a look if mediatemple fails. I currently have this entire site mirrored at http://s69224.gridserver.com/ (backup as of yesterday) It's abit slower though =/ Feel free to spam it, try it out. Keep in mind that some of the links still point here

How do you make such little money? You should probably put some more ads up..

Looking for the MSPP lend please contact me for collateral details:) Thanks for all your hard work and good luck with the new servers:D

Nahh, one ad is good enough :P Besides more ads = slowness and we all hate tnt for it - not about to start it myself either

I think i might take the donations link thing down. Might be able to survive on just ads :P For some reason, the ads are bringing in more revenue per click. It used to be like 1-5 cents a click but recently, it's often 25 cents to even a dollar in some cases. Curious as to how google calculates it.
