Portal Idea-Average Profit
Submitted by six on Fri, 01/01/2010 - 9:52am
Hi Dmitri
You know when you are looking at the details of an item on the left above "emulate sales"
Item Name-
#sold-
last sold date
Total Sales-
Total Costs
Net
***(Average Profit per Item sold-822NP)
Would you be able to add Average Profit?
And give me the ability to rank and compare?
What I want to see is the average profit per item compared to another item.
If it's too much trouble, that's okay. I just thought this might be a helpful feature in trying to decide what to stock up on in the future based on Quantity Sold and Profit per Item.
Hope this makes sense, *unsure*

Idea/suggestion for the portal :)
Submitted by P4Ssoa on Thu, 24/12/2009 - 9:12am
I had an idea's which could improve the neomallers portal a little bit.
If you add a list with all items to the portal and categorize them, you could have an option to check what items you do not yet have in stock. (Only problem would be to filter UB's)
You can also have a category of quest items.
So you can check what faerie quest items you do not yet have in stock. If you are in charge of the books category, you can use this tool to see what water faerie quest items your shop is missing.
Another idea,..
If neomallers starts working together with either iPricing or JN's itemdatabase,

New Site Theme (Press CTRL+R or CTRL+F5)
Submitted by saudor on Sun, 20/12/2009 - 8:33pm
Figured it's better to make a whole new thread instead of hijacking that other one.
Anyways new theme, in case you didnt notice :P
Polls are now visible on the sidebar as well (i remember someone saying something about them)
The layout has been tested to work ok on Firefox, Opera, and IE6 under 1280 x 800 and 1024 x 768 resolution (like the old one)
Post comments, glitches, complaints, and whatnot.

[DEV] The New Mall Database
Submitted by saudor on Sat, 19/12/2009 - 5:27am
You've asked for it. Now you're getting it. A new specify-mall database!
New features include:
- ability to manage branches (basically multiple malls) of your mall network
- define multiple managers with admin to add/remove members
- Members from your other branches will show up as blue, and of course, members in directly in your branch will show up green.
- irisheyez will show up with a squashed tent icon beside her name
- malls with 0 members will be deleted hourly by server cron.

[STAFF OPENINGS] NT Editorial Database
Submitted by saudor on Thu, 17/12/2009 - 12:56pm
Ok we are finally now setting up the NT editorial database which will allow you to browse NT editorial questions by topic (such as account, game rules, etc)
Users will not only be able to search it via keyword, all questions will be categorized and "mirrored" across relevant topics. For example, game questions can fit under both game AND side account rules for example.
For starters, we plan to use the categories found here: http://www.neopets.com/s/index.phtml?skip=true
Feel free to post comments, suggestions of any other features you would like to see!
Thanks!

Site Changes: (Dec 17)

The following changes have been made to the site:
1.) Your user profiles (accessible through My Account) has been updated to a new layout and opens the window for further customization via CSS once I can confirm that I can do this without running any security risks.
2.) Replying to multi-paged threads will automatically send you to the last post (This means you no longer have to click "LAST POST" after replying to a topic)

Neomallers portal: Tracking map piece sales
Submitted by deviln3 on Tue, 15/12/2009 - 7:40pm
I am not sure if there is a feature for it, but how can I track individual map piece sales.
Its not a problem for petpet lab map pieces cause they all cost and sell for the same amount.
But some map pieces range from 20-80k to buy and selling is a different matter.
So is there a way to track this?
Thanks for the feedback! =)
