How do I work with multiple databases?

I just started a second database in addition to my main one. Does anyone else use multiple databases? If I submit my sales history when I am in one database, does the information go into both? Is there a way to move from one database to another without closing the program? Thanks for your help!

I use multiple databases for my shop by category. For example- Front Page, Hot Sellers, Drinks, etc. I don't think there is a way to transfer data though. Sales history won't share either.

I add the extra category seperately, you just have to paste the sales history to both databases :)
