To sum it up and translate her hideously unreadable font, I was advertising on the quest board for my Dark Faerie Quest shop, when this girl comes on and starts harassing me. She compares my prices to shop wiz prices and says what I'm doing is "really reportable". Thought you guys might enjoy this.

Humm malling isn't reportable. Only thing I saw that was interesting was you mentioned quest board? I don't see to many advertisements there for people shops only people looking for help on quests. I don't think I would have the guts to advertise there since none others are. However malling is perfectly legal.... least I sure do hope it is still so ....

Yeah...the problem is the quest board. I used to like the quest board (though I never tried to advertise there, mine isn't a quest-related shop), but it's been taken over by people who think quest helpers take a solemn vow or something, and through much annoying of staff (or so I imagine) there are neopians there in possession of neomails which state (more or less) that the quest board is not the shop ads board, and you can't advertise your shop there. They will report you. But they'll often gang up on you first to try to make you leave. You can have a link to your shop in your siggy...but the faithful may still try to run you out of Dodge...

Shame on you for trying to make a profit! And I rely on quest shops because I hate using the quest boards - I prefer the convenience :)

~ May ~ Well, I have a friend who helps people on the Quest board and when they have dark faerie quests, she directs them to my shop *shrugs* It's not that different from searching for them on the wiz and giving them the shop - I'm not THAT overpriced for them to notice it too XD And I have to say - everytime she's doing that my sales increase a lot :)

They act like their greater calling in life was to provide links on a virtual pets site to low priced shops so people can finish their quests.
