On behalf of The Nursery Malls

I'm Cris, o0o_bythesea_o0o, owner of The Nursery Malls. A thread from a few days ago was brought to my attention that I think has caused some real damage to my mall's reputation (and that of my mall members and my own). The Nursery Mall was started by a friend of mine 3 1/2 years ago with the basis of being a well organized friendly mall with friendly members and staff. Since taking the malls over 2 years ago I've worked hard to keep that good reputation. I think myself, my mall members, and staff have done very well with that... up until now. I'm very disappointed in many of the things that I read in that thankfully-no-longer-existing-thread. It was started by a mall member of mine simply to get some "Oh man I totally understand"s and/or some ideas to help the situation. However, it got out of hand when the thread creator left the board. I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I do no approve or participate in that sort of thing - harassment of a user for any reason. And that's exactly what it was - harassment and even bashing. As I told those involved: If I had time to browse every possible site to watch every possible thread that any of my members may possibly be on - I could have put an end to it before it got outright disgraceful. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of time, nor should I have to spend it babysitting if I did. I know that fires were fed and things just got out of hand. None of my mall members or staff are mean spirited people. It's simply human nature to feed off other people's emotions. Especially online where it's easy to forget that we're all more than just a name on a computer screen. We're all real people, with real feelings, and we all deserve to be treated with respect. Not to mention that Neopets is a kid friendly site and the majority of the users are kids. Every situation should be handled as if that person is a child - because odds are, they are. So please think before posting or saying anything to or about someone. Please, accept my apology on behalf of the entire Nursery Mall. I hope everyone will take it as a mistake and know that we aren't group of monsters, but we're very nice, approachable people - I promise! =) Thanks for reading this! - Cris

I would like to apologize too. Some of the things I said weren't very nice at all and I agree that things other people were saying were also rather mean. Like Mareh said, what was done wasn't right, but we all could have handled it much better. We are definitely not a mean group of people, I love all of you here at the Nursery *hugs* so let's try to put this behind us and learn from our mistakes. I know nobody wants to hear from me, but I feel you must, I'm changing my banner, as suggested. I hope I don't wind up like Mr. Mcdonald. I never meant to anger anybody or for things to get out out of hand, I said some things I shouldn't have. And the consequences are just a couple of neomails, thankfully. I don't expect anything less of total hatred toward me. But I hope this apology makes things moderately better for everyone. Thank you for your time. I feel owe something to you, though you probably don't want it, If you ever require something of me, please let me know, I would be happy to oblige! :) I apologize to the Nursery, Cris, Leah, Mareh, and anyone else I might have said something hurtful to. ~Paige

I have no idea what happened but heck, ill apologize too since the rest of my mall is im starting to feel left out ... Im truly sorry for whoever did what in our mall.

Im truly sorry for whoever did what in our mall.[/quote] lol you're too funny katie =) i tried to post on the mall chat but the lag was insane and i gave up (what's up with my neo today?) - good luck with the wisdom teeth! i had mine removed a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. the first day i was super numb and nicely doped up and slept all day. the next day i felt surprisingly good, and it kept getting continuously better =) i got tired of yogurt and soups, but that only last a couple of days =) - mac and cheese is totally do-able the 3rd day (mac and cheese is my go-to comfort food. i swear it solves everything)
