What do you look for in a NB ad?

Most specifically, what do you look for in an AD you might or might not place your shop in? (did I make sense?) I took a look back around 3 or 4 pages and saw nothing alike so I figured we could discuss... A few topics that I came up with would be - Pretty/flashy/attractive banner - Good/fair price - Larger or smaller buttons (depending on how much you can pay and how much attention you want) - Trustworthy person collecting the fees - Known person - Known ad - Ad usually on the top of first page - Peek day (week days, weekends, etc) Also would it irritate you if 2 buttons were larger than everything else, but those people also payed a lot more? (let's say, 18 buttons at 155k and those 2 extra at 300k) I'm sure you can see that I am considering to set one up, eventually (definitly not now or anytime in the next month, but eventually), so I'm gathering information XD But also I think it's an interesting thing to discuss...

Like many people, I tend to favorite those who have a cool looking banner first then I look for experience/trustworthy-ness of the individual who is running the advertisement next.

~ May ~ Oh and since you mentioned trustworthy-ness, what would be considered a trustworthy person? Someone with a nice neopets account and decently well known would be enough? :P Or someone you personally know.. Cause, well, I think I'm trustworthy.. But then again, if I didn't think that, it would be quite weird XD I've been playing for almost 4 years, have a decently sized shop, decently expensive gallery, decently expensive pets (including one UC grey grundo who is my baby), decent avatar count (265) and so on... So I think it's a trustworthy account.. But as a maller, I am quite sure I'm not well known, since my shop is not on any markets right now and I've only been around here for erm.. *checks* 2 months... And yeah I know I'm not experienced with ads - but I learn quick xD

My avatar count is low and I don't have a gallery. I was surprised on how and why people trusted me back then. I think "trustworthy-ness" actually must be combined with professionalism. If I had been talking lyke dis den i wouldnt hav been accepted readily as I did.

Well, then there is hope for me hehe Again thanks for everyone's help, I'm really trying to gather as much information and ideas as to make a good ad, whenever I end up making it, since I don't want to go all noobish and end up getting people's np and doing everything wrong and ending up with a half full ugly halfway across the page NB ad :P (altho I seriously doubt it would be ugly either way, since I wouldn't be the one doing it - I have NO graphic taste but my co-leader/co-manager and best neo friend does XD)
